We just returned from our Maui trip one week ago today, and I wanted to comment on the wonderful Trilogy experiences we enjoyed. We were on Captain Fred's Molokini Excursion on Tuesday, March 22nd at 6:30am. Once on board, the entire crew made us feel at home and welcome. The Kona coffee and cinnamon rolls were outstanding, and the fresh fruit was a perfect compliment. The trip out to Molokini went quickly, as we were regaled with Captain Fred's stories ... he's OK despite being an Auburn fan. The snorkeling around Molokini was fun and beautiful. All three of us got in the water, and really enjoyed the sights. The second snorkel stop my wife and daughter enjoyed swimming with the sea turtles. The return trip we actually got to sail some, and the lunch was spectacular. You read all of these comments about the grilled chicken ... every comment is true! Best chicken I've ever tasted!!! We enjoyed the Molokini trip so much that we scheduled a second Trilogy trip for the following Thursday evening and did the Ka'annapali Sunset Sailing trip. The wind wasn't condusive to sailing, but Captain Don (I think that was his name) made a memorable whale watching trip out of the evening. We were so close to some of the moms and babies that you could almost spit on them. My daughter got some amazing pictures. I especially enjoyed the white wine that was served! Our Maui trip was made in honor of our graduating senior daughter, and Trilogy certainly made our trip an unforgettable one. No Maui trip is complete without at least one Trilogy excursion. On our next trip to Maui, you can bet we'll be booking with Trilogy! And guys, my daughter says "Thanks" for a couple of amazing experiences!

Myself, my wife Brenda, daughters Emma,8, and Olivia, 6, went on your Discover Lana'i Sunset Sail on March 30. The crew was Capt Brian, Divemaster Chuck, crewmates Ellie and Leaf. I must say the crew worked together extremely well, was knowledgeable and made our experience amazing. Chuck took myself and my wife on a beach dive, his knowledge of the reef and its inhabitants was great. My daughters did the Camp Trilogy and were amazed by what they learned and saw. I wish I could remember the name of the female captain, she was a moonlighting teacher and she was great. The Camp Trilogy intern was named Jeri and my girls really enjoyed her. The food, diving, snorkeling, whales, dolphins and sailing was first rate. In the eight days we spent on Maui, this was the best excursion we had. Your people really made the difference. I am not one to write letters about stuff like this, but I felt I must make an exception in this case to tell you what a great job this crew did. I will definitely recommend your company to others and use them again when I return to Maui. Once again, thank you and we will be see you again!

We are currently staying on Maui until Friday 10/10 but this email is to tell you how ABSOLUTELY THRILLED we were with our trip to Lana'i yesterday! The crew of Kevin, Mark, Jessica and Kate were FANTASTIC! Professional, attentive, well-informed and incredibly "multi-talented"! I would recommend this trip to every person who wants to enjoy the best day of their stay on Maui. Thanks TRILOGY!

"Hi, I just want to thank you for a great day. I was on the Discover Lana'i trip, Nov. 8th, with Captain Scotty and crew. This is my second time to go with you and I'm sure I will be back. I wish I had your weather. I bought a sweat shirt from your office in Lahaina and I need it here now. Thank you all for the great adventure!  

I can't even begin to tell you what the experience of our trip with Trilogy meant to our family. I had to talk my husband in to going on the trip, but he has told EVERYONE since we got back what a first-class operation it was. From the moment we sat foot on the boat in Lahaina until we got off that evening, everything was top rate!!!! The crew was wonderful (thank Chuck for teaching my son to scuba dive), and also to Captain Owen a big thanks for answering all of Caleb's many questions and letting him just be himself!!! We have been on many trips in the past where everything was a "no-no" and the kids were really inhibited. But, the Trilogy crew made our kids feel at home, and we felt at home, and the day was just too wonderful to describe!!! It will be our treasured memory from our trip to Maui, and you can be sure that we will return again and again, and will tell all of our friends that are going to Maui to not miss their adventure in Paradise with Trilogy.  --Mahalo!!!

"Dear Trilogy, Earlier this month my wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary by vacationing on Maui. Of all the activities in which we participated, your day trip to Lana'i will be the most memorable. We felt like your crew (I believe Jennifer was the captain of Trilogy 1 that day)cared for our well being, safety and most of all made sure we had fun. We enjoyed listening to Jim's family's story. The snorkeling was awesome (we had never done it before) and you kept piling on the chicken breasts and noodles for lunch. What a treat! On the way back to Maui, my wife got seasick. Your crew took the time and made the effort to move my wife to the back of the boat and made sure she was comfortable. One crew members poured an ice-cold pitcher of water over the back of her neck(with her permission of course) because he knew this would calm her stomach. And it did! Anyway I felt that you went out of your way to provide a quality experience and you strove to care for us while we were with you. We purchased your book, hat and some t-shirts with the purpose of using them as an advertising tool as much as we can. I have shared our experience with Trilogy with friends, family and at my workplace. I know I will share our experience with many more people in the future. "We recently were fortunate enough to be on board your boat with a group chartered by BMW. We were part of a group honored by BMW for our customer service skills. The skipper and crew on board our boat epitomized what customer satisfaction is all about. From the minute we stepped on board the boat, we were made to feel welcome. The entire staff did everything to insure that we had an enjoyable and safe day out on the water. This was definitely the high point of our week spent in Hawaii and we have already recommended you to someone traveling to Hawaii. We also made sure the trip coordinators were aware of the quality of this voyage, although I am sure you have heard this before, your staff is indeed first rate. The irony is although we ate at many fine restaurants while we were there, the lunch served on board the trilogy was the best meal we had. Thank you again for making this a special memory for us. If we are ever in Maui again, we will contact you for reservations first."

P.S. My husband says it sure beat the bike ride down the volcano.

We would have to say that it was one of the most memorable things that we did on our honeymoon. That was Adam's first time in the ocean and he talks about it all the time. The food was great, and the crew was so nice. I loved when we sailed back to sore. That was great! We loved it!!! Owen at the helm and discover how to treat customers with dignity and interact with employees and expect superior performance while maintaining the crew's dignity while expecting and receiving outstanding results from the crew. Your company is blessed. Enough about that, all we can add is this: Why go to Maui, the most beautiful place on earth, without experiencing the TRILOGY? "I just posted the following paragraphs on Frommer's Hawaii message board. I'm sorry I failed to mention the captain's name, Owen, who was just great. I don't know the guy's name who did the kid's camp, but he has special talent. We went on Feb 21, 2002 I just got back from Maui and one of the highlights was Trilogy's sunset cruise to Lanai. It left Lahaina harbor at 10AM and sailed (or motored if no wind) to Lanai. We watched whales on the way over, then snorkeled in Hulopo'e Bay. If you wanted, you could keep on snorkeling or take a van tour of the island. I opted for the tour since I didn't expect to be back soon. The tour guide, "D," was really great and interesting. At the end of the day the crew fixed a fantastic dinner, then we sailed back at sunset and watched more whales while sipping champagne.  
I'm not a kid-person, but there were a few kids on this trip. They offered a kids' camp, and the guy in charge of them was incredible! He entertained them constantly and had them involved in projects that provided entertainment for the rest of us. It was inspiring to see his effect on these kids, who were clearly mesmerized. The entire crew was funny, helpful, and made the entire day a delight. Did I mention they served home-made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and lunch on board the boat, too. Our trip to Lanai was great as well the Monday before that. The dives were fun, the staff was very informative and friendly, the boats were perfect for trips like these, and the food was perfect. We had Scott as a captain on both trips but should also mention that Dusty, Mike, Jennifer, Jonathan, Mona, Milton, and Neil all did a great job. Dusty and Mona were fun and as said before informative to dive with. Milton also gave us some good tips on food as well as Hawaiian word translations. "If there is a Garden of Eden on earth, it begins in Maui, goes to Lanai, heads to Molokini and returns to Maui. The only way to reach this Garden is to get to Maui and hook up with the great crew of Trilogy! On March 4th, my partner and I sailed Trilogy to Lanai. After snorkeling for a while, we took a nap in the hammocks the crew had set up. They woke us gently when it was time for lunch and fed us until we could eat no more. The two highlights of the day for me was when Capt. Scott let me "captain" the boat on the way to Lanai and when the humpback whale breached next to the hull on the way back to Maui. Well, we couldn't get enough and decided to head out with Trilogy (and Capt. Scott) on March 7th to the Molokini Crater and "Turtle Town." Again, it was a beautiful time. And the way back, we saw baby humpback (if they can ever be called that) with its mother. The crew estimated the baby to be about three weeks old. Thank you for the time of a lifetime. When we return to Paradise, we will be sailing with Trilogy again."

"I was on a cruise with Captain Owen on January 31st, 2002. They could not snorkel because of the rains; but that did not dampen our trip at all. The crew on the boat were just the greatest; could not do enough for us. The food on the boat and at the pavilion was prepared it personally by the staff and was very good with generous portions! We felt like the whales when we were done eating; but that was not the end of it! Going home, we were served more food - ice cream, cookies, champagne...wow, so great. 
We got to see many whales; an albino dolphin and hundreds of spinner dolphins. Captain Owen always stopped the boat to let us watch. It was like a private show just for us. Thank you again and again. I'll see you again next January!"
